Terms of use
SanthaiApp is a hyperlocal marketplace that connects you with independent local shops, delivery partners, drivers, service providers and employers near you. Sellers sell their own goods and are the seller of record; SanthaiApp provides the platform and is not a party to the sale.
SanthaiApp is operated by Its Warriors (proprietor: M Sankarapandi), registered address: 740/1, RR Nagar, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu 626204, India.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the SanthaiApp website, mobile app and related services. The company that operates SanthaiApp is named, with its registered address, on our Contact page. By creating an account, placing an order, booking a ride or posting content, you agree to these terms, our Marketplace policies and our Privacy policy.
2. SanthaiApp is a marketplace, not the seller
Products and services on SanthaiApp are listed and sold by independent sellers and providers. The seller is the seller of record: the contract of sale is between you and the seller. SanthaiApp provides the technology that lets you discover shops, place orders and contact sellers, and is not the manufacturer, seller, stockist or service provider for listed goods or services.
3. What sellers are responsible for
Each seller is responsible for its goods and services, their quality, safety, description, expiry dates, pricing (including MRP), taxes, invoices, warranties, packing and delivery, and for honouring its cancellation, return and refund terms. Sellers must hold and keep valid every licence and registration their trade needs, such as an FSSAI licence or registration for food, a drug licence for medicines, a PESO licence where explosives rules apply, and GST registration where applicable. A listing, badge, paid plan or licence number shown on SanthaiApp is not a guarantee by SanthaiApp that the seller is licensed, that goods are genuine or that an order will be fulfilled.
4. Orders, prices and payment
When you place an order, you make an offer to the seller, which the seller may accept, change with your agreement, or decline. Prices, availability and delivery charges are set by the seller and shown before you order. You pay the seller directly by cash on delivery, by UPI paid directly to the seller's UPI ID, or at the shop. SanthaiApp does not collect, hold or settle payments for goods sold by sellers. Before paying by UPI, check that the payee name matches the shop. Never share an OTP, UPI PIN, password or card details with anyone, including people claiming to be SanthaiApp support.
5. Delivery, rides and goods vehicles
Orders are delivered by the seller or by an independent delivery partner, or collected at the shop. Ride, parcel and goods-vehicle bookings are carried out by independent drivers and transport providers, not by SanthaiApp. Fares and delivery times shown are estimates unless stated as final. Drivers and delivery partners are responsible for holding a valid driving licence, vehicle registration, permits and insurance, and for driving safely and lawfully. Do not book a ride or goods vehicle to carry passengers beyond the vehicle's limit, or explosives, hazardous or illegal goods.
6. Medicines, food and other regulated goods
Prescription medicines are supplied only by licensed pharmacies against a valid prescription, which the pharmacy may ask to see. Food sellers must meet food safety rules. Some goods are age-restricted or need a licence to buy, carry or use; the seller may refuse an order that does not meet the law. You must not order or list goods that are illegal to sell or deliver in your area.
7. Fireworks
Fireworks: sold only by licensed sellers where the fireworks department is open; subject to local laws and festival-time rules; no delivery where prohibited. Sellers must hold a valid licence for the fireworks they sell (for example a PESO or local explosives licence) and follow storage, packing and transport rules. Court orders, state and district orders and festival-time rules, such as permitted hours, may limit sale, delivery or use in your area. Fireworks must never be sent through ride, parcel or goods-vehicle bookings.
8. Workforce job posts
Job posts on SanthaiApp Workforce are written and published by employers. SanthaiApp is not the employer or a recruitment agency, does not verify every post, and does not guarantee an interview, job, wage or working conditions. SanthaiApp charges no fee to job seekers to apply unless a fee is clearly stated before you pay. Never pay an employer or anyone else to get a job. Report any post that asks for money, looks false or is unsafe.
9. Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). Give accurate details and keep your phone and account secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be 18 or older, or use SanthaiApp with the consent and supervision of a parent or lawful guardian. You can delete your account at any time from the app or our Account deletion page.
10. Reviews, posts and other content
You keep ownership of the reviews, ratings, feed posts, photos, chat messages and other content you share, and you allow SanthaiApp to host, display and share it on the platform to run the service. Your content must be honest and lawful. Do not post anything false, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing or threatening, anything that infringes someone else's rights, other people's personal information, spam, or paid or fake reviews. You can report content with the in-app report option or through our Grievance Officer. We may remove content, limit visibility or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law, and we act on complaints and lawful orders within the times set by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
11. Acceptable use
Do not impersonate anyone, misuse other people's details, place fake or prank orders, harass sellers, delivery partners or drivers, scrape or copy the service, interfere with its security, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may refuse service, cancel bookings or restrict accounts and listings for misuse, safety concerns or legal reasons.
12. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Cancellation, return and refund terms for goods are set by the seller and must follow consumer law. Our Cancellation and refund policy explains how to cancel an order, report a problem with an order and get help when a seller does not respond. Payments made directly to a seller are refunded by that seller.
13. Our responsibility
SanthaiApp acts as an intermediary for listings and content provided by sellers, providers, employers and users. We are not responsible for the goods, services, jobs or conduct of independent sellers, delivery partners, drivers or employers, but we will help you raise a complaint and act on it under these terms. We do not promise that the service will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have, or any responsibility we have, that cannot be limited under Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact the seller first about a problem with an order, and then our Grievance Officer if it is not resolved. You may also approach the National Consumer Helpline, a consumer commission or any other authority or court that has jurisdiction.
15. Grievances and contact
Our Grievance Officer's name, contact details and working hours, and how to file a complaint, are on the Grievance redressal page. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. The last-updated date shows the current version. We will tell you about important changes in the app or on the website. Changes do not apply to orders placed before the change.
