How to compare fireworks price lists and pack units
A lower number is not necessarily a lower like-for-like price. First establish what one quoted unit contains, then compare the same product, quantity and terms.
Read the selling unit before the price
Look for the unit beside the catalogue entry. Box, Piece, Packet, Pack, Tin and Case describe different possible selling units. The label alone does not tell you how many individual items are inside a particular product's package.
Do not silently convert Pack to Packet or assume every Box has the same contents. If one catalogue quotes per box and another per piece, those numbers are not yet directly comparable. Ask each seller for the unit basis and the contents of that exact item.
Keep contents and requested quantity separate
The contents describe what is inside one selling unit. Your requested quantity describes how many of those selling units you want to discuss. For example, a request for two boxes is not a request for two individual pieces unless the seller has explicitly confirmed that relationship for that product.
- Product: exact name, brand if supplied, and catalogue code or link.
- Selling unit: the label shown for the listed or quoted price.
- Contents per unit: the seller-confirmed pack description or count.
- Requested quantity: the number of those selling units in your enquiry.
Compare the quoted terms, not just a discount
A percentage discount is meaningful only with its price basis and scope. Two sellers may use different list prices or include different products, so a larger percentage does not by itself establish better value. Compare the final quoted amount for matching items and confirmed units.
Ask whether taxes or other charges are included, whether a minimum quantity applies, how long the quotation is valid and what happens if an item is unavailable. These are questions for the seller, not promises made by a catalogue total or by SanthaiApp.
Keep the catalogue and quotation distinguishable
Retain the shop name, catalogue link and the date you viewed it, then keep the seller's response separately. A downloaded price list may be an earlier snapshot. Confirm current item details and rates rather than treating that file as a stock reservation or a binding order.
If a unit or price changes between browsing and the seller's reply, review your requested quantities again. Ask for an itemised clarification before considering any separate lawful offline purchase. An enquiry or displayed estimate does not collect a fireworks product payment.
Use the guide with a current catalogue
Check the seller's current details and the exact items you are enquiring about. An enquiry is not an order, stock reservation, product-payment confirmation or delivery booking. The fireworks enquiry service is for adults aged 18 or older.
