PESO's authorised-fireworks reference includes names such as sparklers, flower pots or fountains, rockets, and wheels or chakras. Shop spellings and brand names vary. Use the product code and full name to check whether two listings really describe the same item.

The cards below explain common catalogue groupings. ‘Fancy’, ‘gift box’ and ‘family pack’ do not describe one fixed specification. A classification reference is also not a substitute for current local restrictions or product-specific approval information.

Keep the selling unit separate from the pack contents. One listing may quote a box, another a piece, and another an assortment. Ask for the contents of one quoted unit before comparing the numbers or deciding how many units to enquire about.

For an assortment, ask for the itemised list rather than assuming that two equally priced boxes contain equivalent products. If a seller proposes a substitute, check the replacement's identity, contents and price again.

A ‘kids’ or ‘family’ label is not evidence that a firework is safe for independent child handling. PESO advises that small children should not handle fireworks. Follow the manufacturer's precautions and the current rules for where you are.

Likewise, a ‘green’ or other promotional label should be supported by information for the exact product. Ask the seller what the claim refers to. No category page or marketplace listing replaces checking the original packaging and the relevant current requirements.

Start with one category, then narrow the selection by exact manufacturer, product name, variant and pack contents. A catalogue category is useful navigation, but products inside it are not automatically interchangeable. Keep the item code where available and ask whether the photograph shows the specific variant being quoted.
